SpaceBeacon Foundation exists to make sure the next chapter of Canada's digital and AI economy is one every community helps write — not just witnesses.
Founded as a registered BC non-profit society and operated alongside Preeminent Technologies Inc. (the parent of SpaceBeacon), the Foundation channels a portion of the company's revenue, software, and engineering capacity into community-led digital readiness programming.
We focus on the people federal and provincial digital strategies single out as priority groups: First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities, women returning to careers, youth 15–29, and seniors 55+.
And we believe in starting locally, in BC — then opening the door to every region in Canada that asks us in.
SpaceBeacon's commercial work funds and informs the Foundation. The Foundation's community work informs and improves SpaceBeacon's commercial product. Neither side stands still.
An AI-native calendar & maps platform serving SMBs, governments, and travellers in 120+ languages — operated by Preeminent Technologies Inc., a federally incorporated Canadian company.
A registered BC non-profit delivering free training, mentorship, and tourism-led business launch support to Canadians traditionally underserved by digital programs.
We don't ask for funding without doing the work — and we don't do the work in isolation. Here's how our programs map to the federal and BC programs we work alongside.
A small, accountable team rooted in BC — operating the Foundation in close partnership with SpaceBeacon's commercial leadership.

As a registered BC non-profit, we are accountable to our community, our partners, and the public. Here are the commitments we hold ourselves to.

The technology is finally meeting us where we live — not where the brochures imagined we lived.
Whether you bring capital, capacity, or community connections — there's a way to join us this year.
