Rural BC tourism cooperative Representative Cohort · Rural British Columbia
A Canadian community, a real launch

From storytelling on the land to a booked-out cultural tour business in 90 days.

A cohort of youth and seniors in a rural BC community worked with the Foundation to launch a small-group cultural-tourism cooperative — combining local heritage with a Canadian-built multilingual booking site, digital payments, and multilingual distribution to visitors worldwide.

The result: a fully community-owned tourism business, six new local jobs, and a model we are extending to four more rural communities across BC in 2026.
